How fast should a two year olds heart be beating? My son has a fever right now. It’s not extremely high but we noticed his heart is beating fast, faster than what our hearts as adults beat anyhow. Is this normal for a little one like my son or is this odd? I am watching him. I don’t think he’s to a point where he needs to see a doctor. I’m thinking it’s a bug he caught from day care but well I’m hoping someone will know this answer. I will be calling a nurse also.

They always run higher than adults. Hope he gets well soon.
ask your doctor about this stuff
Your heart rate accelerates with a fever. If you haven't already, you should take his clothes off down to his diaper with no covers. Children's heat rates ARE faster than an adults normally.
