What Is The Best Way To Bring My Heart Rate Down?

Every time I work out, my heart rate reaches maximum Heart rate really quick. What can I do to train and make it better?

  1. Start slower with a longer warm up time. You don’t say how old you are….maybe get your ticker checked before going on an exercise program.

  2. it all breaks down into what you eat. have you ever heard about the warriors diet? Drink whole milk before and after your work out instead of food. Eat alot of meat and vegies for your main meals, Im not saying to totally cut out your favorate fatty and hi carb foods. Just cut down and maybe you’ll like a home grilled steak or chicken, rather than a burger or fried chicken.

    Take a Yoga class- YES for real.
    The breathing techniques are incredible and help most folks.
    The stretching shows you “how” to open your body to breath more effectively.

  4. Joey, if your heart is hitting maximum rate early on while your training, I would see a doctor, your age has nothing to do with the total complete health of your heart. I work out all the time and never suffer that problem at all, maybe after 40 -60 min, on the treadmill, I wish you would’ve been a little more specific, but that doesn’t matter. I am not over reacting, may be you need a “stress test”, which if you don’t know what it is look it up on line, That’s my opinion, you could be suffering from some underlying health issues that haven’t been addressed.
